Terms and Conditions

Purple Piglet Scarves accept payment by credit and debit cards, PayPal account transfer, and bank transfer.

The supply of all items is subject to availability.  Purple Piglet Scarves reserves the right to change or discontinue the supply of products at any time.
We try to keep PurplePigletScarves.co.uk up to date but cannot guarantee that particular products will always be available.  If we cannot supply a product you have ordered we will contact you and you will then be able to decide whether you wish to wait for the product to return to stock, select an alternative product, or to cancel your order for a full refund.  If you choose to cancel we will refund amounts that have already been paid to us by you for this item.  Our target is to initiate any refunds within 1 working day of order cancellation - please also see "Refund method" below.

We aim to despatch your purchases within two working days following payment, subject to availability.

Returns within 7 working days of receipt
You may elect to return items within 7 working days of receipt for any reason, for a full refund of purchase price including postage, provided the items are returned to us in the same condition as supplied, preferrably in their original product packaging if possible.  Please notify us by e-mail at Service@PurplePigletScarves.co.uk of your intention to return within 7 days of receipt of the item, specifying date of purchase and item details, and we will send you an e-mail containing a return number and return address; the e-mail should be printed out and enclosed with the item being returned, and this should be sent back to us within 7 days. We will normally initiate the refund within one working day of receipt of the return.

Damaged or defective items
Whilst we try to ensure all items are in good condition prior to despatch, occasionally items may be found to be damaged or defective on receipt.  To obtain either an exchange item or a full refund of purchase price and all postage, we ask that you notify us by e-mail at Service@PurplePigletScarves.co.uk  of any damaged or defective items within 24 hours of receipt, specifying date of purchase and item details and whether you require a refund or replacement.  In either case we will send you an e-mail containing a return number, and this e-mail should be printed out and enclosed with the item being returned.  Some items have their own warranty period, please check product descriptions for more information.

Exchange Items
Please note that it is not always possible to offer an exact replacement, and where this is the case we will contact you by e-mail with suggested alternatives.  In these circumstances you may of course elect to take a full refund, or select your own alternative from our shop, with a payment or refund to reflect any price difference.

How to return items
We will advise you by email of the return address to use, and ask that you send the item back to us by second class post with recorded delivery, and obtain and keep a certificate of posting in case the package goes astray in the postal system.

Refund method
If payment was
  • by credit or debit card, we will refund to that card
  • by bank transfer, we will refund to the remitting bank account - please ensure that a note of account name, number and sort code is included with the return item
  • by PayPal, we will refund through PayPal
